BRIEF REPORT ON SELECTION OF HEALTH PROGRAMS (APRIL INTAKE)

The admission process into Health programs for new and upgrading students was closed on 13^th March, 2015. Selection of candidates into respective institutions has been conducted according to the eligibility of the applicants.

The available vacancy for the programme was 940 and a total of 205 applicants have chosen programmes.

The minimum entry requirements were:-
(I) Ordinary Diploma: Physics – E, Chemistry – C, Biology - C
(ii) Technician Certificate: Physics – E, Chemistry – D, Biology - D

The selection of applicants into Health programs followed certain criteria as listed below.

1. Science Subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
2. Other Subjects (English, Mathematics)
3. O Level Division and Points
4. O Level Graduation Year
5. Application Date
6. Gender

Based on the selection criteria 128 applicants were selected into various Health programs.
