Supply Chain Manager

Job Purpose
Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement the overall company's supply chain strategy
• Manage and establish inventory control parameter/ service guidelines, design various merchandising strategies and monitor inventory of all physical parts, pricing, inventory purchasing, and departmental financial reports.
• Promote the design, development of warehouse, distribution, and logistics solution, manage labor cost, personnel productivity, inventory levels, data accuracy, and stocking strategies
• Monitor and advise the management of channel partners and stockiest adherence to policies and procedures in such areas as parts sales, parts inventory control, service training, warranty administration, consumer relations, customer satisfaction, etc.
• Provide a comprehensive analysis of financial information, advising the management on inventory control issues, and formulating plans to resolve problems.
• Build a culture that utilizes data and analytics to support strategic decisions, planning, and budgeting
• Monitor purchasing trends, manage inventory, and re-ordering parts and products as needed. At all times, ensure that inventory is sufficiently stocked to meet customer needs and encourage sales.
• Reviewing operating processes and procedures to ascertain if they are successful and if not advise alternatives through the systems improvement process.
• Responsible for thought leadership on business evolution, identifying solutions for automation technologies, and for building and implementing solutions that transform the operational capabilities of the business.
• Manage budget and ensure appropriate financial planning and quality assurance control systems are in place and complied with.
• Work with department units in developing and implementing budgets and ensure the company is on track to meet its financial goal.
• Designing policies, overseeing customer service, manage contracts and relations with vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues Develop and
• implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)

Work Experience and Skills

• Minimum ajira a Bachelor degree Supply chain/Procurement/Logistics
• Minimum of 7 years' experience
• Project Management Skills
• Cost accounting Skills
• Ability to understand financial statements
• Understanding of E-business/E-procurement systems
• Data analytics skills.
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving Skills
